Dr. Reeves was born and raised in Southern California. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioveterinary Science with a minor in Chemistry from Utah State University but wisely went back to sunny California for his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, obtained from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. After graduating in 2009 he did an internship in Salt Lake City and was an instructor at Western University before moving to Buckeye to begin his career in small animal medicine. Dr. Reeves and his wife Nickie have four children ranging from 10 years to 9 months, and they share their home with kitty Chloe and 7 year old tortoise Charlie. In his free time Dr. Reeves enjoys cycling (he hopes to one day compete in an Ironman Triathlon), and landscaping, and if you really want to get him talking, ask about fish tanks. His real goal is to have a large fish tank in the hospital; we just need more space!
